What services do you offer?

We install, maintain and repair audio/visual equipment in the general assignment classrooms. We provide A/V equipment loans for approved purposes. We also provide training, support and consulting services.

When is technical support available?

We have technicians available during the week, whenever classes are in session. We cannot answer the phones after 7pm, but voicemail and online tickets are monitored during the evenings.

Who may use the classroom A/V systems?

The classroom A/V systems are for academic, research and administrative use only. Faculty, staff, students and guests may use the A/V systems for any approved purpose. Click here for more information.

What equipment do you have for loan?

Click here for more information on our equipment loans.

The Newman Library also has A/V equipment for loan.

Do you repair A/V equipment?

We maintain and repair our own equipment. Please contact us if any classroom A/V equipment is damaged or malfunctioning. We do not provide repairs of personal or departmental A/V equipment.

Can I record a lecture/event?

Yes, you can record from any room with a lecture capture system. You must arrange this in advance of your lecture/event. Click here for more information.

Some classrooms are equipped with USB camera and microphone systems that allow personal lecture recording. Click here for more information.

Can you help me reserve a room for a class/event?

We are unable to schedule rooms. Please contact Scheduling at 231‑6888. Student organizations may reserve rooms online. Reserving a room does not grant access to the A/V equipment in that room. Click here for more information on who may use the classroom A/V systems.
